This notice applies when you visit tullaventures.com or preview.tullaventures.com, submit a pitch, contact us, or apply for a role through the website. In this notice, "Tulla Ventures", "we", "us", and "our" refer to Tulla Ventures.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Pitch information: your name, work email, startup name, company stage, team size, annual revenue, website, elevator pitch, and pitch-deck link.
• Communications: information you send when you email, call, or otherwise contact us.
• Applications: your name, contact email, resume link, and the professional introduction you submit for a current or future role.

Please do not send patient data, medical records, government identifiers, financial account details, passwords, trade secrets, or information you are not authorised to share.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting and security providers may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested page, and request time to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the website. Google Fonts may receive standard request information when your browser loads the site's typefaces.

3. How we use information

We use personal data only for lawful, specified purposes, including to:

• review a pitch, evaluate potential fit, conduct diligence, and contact the submitter;
• respond to enquiries and manage our business relationships;
• evaluate job applications and communicate with candidates;
• operate, protect, maintain, and improve the website; and
• comply with applicable law, enforce our terms, and protect our rights and the rights of others.

Submitting a pitch does not create a confidential, fiduciary, advisory, partnership, or investment relationship. Please read our Website Terms before sharing materials.

4. How we share information

We do not sell personal data. We may share it only as reasonably necessary with:

• Tulla Ventures team members and advisers involved in reviewing an opportunity, enquiry, or application;
• service providers that host or support the website and communications, including Cloudflare and Google Workspace or Google Forms;
• professional advisers, auditors, insurers, or counterparties where appropriate and subject to suitable confidentiality obligations; and
• government authorities or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect legal rights, safety, and security.

Some providers operate in multiple countries. As a result, personal data may be processed outside India, subject to applicable law and provider safeguards.

5. Retention and security

We keep personal data only while it is reasonably needed for the purposes described above, for an active or potential business relationship, or to meet legal, accounting, dispute, and security requirements. When it is no longer needed, we will delete, anonymise, or securely archive it as appropriate.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal data. No online service, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

6. Cookies and external links

When office-hours booking is available, choosing to view the calendar loads Google Calendar inside this website. Google processes your name, email address, selected meeting time and any booking answers to arrange the appointment with our team and the appointment co-hosts. Google may use its own cookies under its privacy policy. You can also open the booking page directly. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

We currently do not use advertising or analytics cookies and do not create visitor accounts. Essential infrastructure may use operational technologies needed to deliver and protect the website. If this changes, we will update this notice and provide any choice required by law.

The website links to portfolio companies and other third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not this one.

7. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to provide information about our processing of your personal data, correct or update it, delete it where applicable, withdraw consent for future processing, or raise a grievance. Email hello@tullaventures.com with the subject "Privacy request" and identify the email address or submission concerned. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

We will acknowledge and respond to privacy grievances within a reasonable period and no later than 90 days. Where applicable, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India after first giving us an opportunity to address the grievance.

8. Children

This website and its pitch and recruitment channels are intended for adults acting in a professional capacity. We do not knowingly seek personal data from anyone under 18.

We may update this notice as our services, providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date above shows when the latest version took effect.
